(American Heart Association) A U.S. medical center compared outcomes of patients in 2019 and 2020 who had in-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to determine if safety precautions due to the pandemic affect patient survival.Researchers analyzed results of COVID-19 patients who had experienced in-hospital CPR and compared them to patients without COVID-19 who had experienced in-hospital CPR and found no significant difference in patient outcomes between the groups.
